Gujarati web series 'Midnights with Menka' made into a feature film

Originally a Gujarati web series with episodic storyline 'Midnights with Menka' got made into a feature film having entire star cast - Viral Shah on Midnights with Menka!

Writer and Director Viral Shah tell us the entire story about how 'Midnights with Menka' originally 5 episodic web series with multi-tracking got made into a Gujarati language feature film. Viral said, 'I remember having met Malhar in Ahmedabad along with my co-writer to develop and write the story having the main idea of creating a regional language Gujarati web series'. 

Further, he continued saying that how web series in regional language was an unexplored space as it had never been done before. He mainly wanted to create a script for producing the web series but had no plans of directing it. Later with the entire story for digital web series ready by Viral, he took the same script for pitching it to producers who told him that the way he has thought and conceptualized the complete story is very amazing and they think that he's the apt choice for directing and conveying the story on the screen. 

After much convincing, Viral got okay with the idea of directing it and that's when he met the producers of the film who showed good interest in the script and had lots of hope with it. Slowly the principal star cast comprising Hardik Sangani, Esha Kansara and Vinita Mahesh got cast in the film. With the unconditional support and backing of everyone, 'Midnights with Menka' got made into a regional Gujarati language feature film.
