In February the entire nation went into a mourning when the news broken that Sridevi is no more. Her untimely demise shook the world of her two daughters Janhvi and Khushi and her husband
Boney Kapoor. They were left devastated and there was no support to console them through the tough times.
Recently in an episode of Koffee with Karan 6,
Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi shared the couch to talk about love, life and loss. Arjun talked about Sridevi and said that being with Janhvi and Khushi came naturally to him. He never shared a good relationship with Sridevi and his mother too had passed away six years ago. So he understood the pain of Kapoor sisters and he didn't hold his support back.
Arjun and Anshula are the kids of
Boney Kapoor's first wife. Talking about her and Sridevi, Arjun said.
"A moment changes everything, I have been through that moment, I wouldn't wish it for my worst enemy. I and Anshula did everything out of pure honesty knowing that we would have needed somebody at that time. We couldn't have that but that doesn't mean Janhvi and Khushi shouldn't. My mother would have wanted that. If she was alive that's the first thing she should've said is, "Go be there". Don't hold any grudges; your life is too short."He recalled the moment when he asked Anshula about being with the girls. He said,"It took me a lot of courage to ask Anshula, "I think this is the right thing, what do you feel? It was 2 am in the morning and when I told her, the first thing she asked was, "Where are the girls?"
