Kedarnath: Sara Ali Khan and Sushant DO NOT turn up for PROMOTIONS

Debutant Sara Ali Khan's debut film 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput had initially faced many debacles and now finally is seeing the light of the day as it is all set to release on 7th December. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film based on a true story has impressed the audience with its trailer. 

Sara especially has grabbed major eyeballs for her convenient performance in the trailer. Post her stint on Karan Johar's show 'Koffee With Karan', the viewers are calling her the next big thing in Bollywood for her bold, sassy and charismatic behaviour on the show. 

Speaking of the film, the promotions of Kedarnath have already started and recently, Sara Ali Khan flew to London to promote the film. As per a report in Mid-Day, Sara failed to return to India in time for television show Dance plus 4. 

The report read, "Sushant and Sara did not show up for the shoot of Dance Plus 4 at the last moment. The shoot was taking place at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon, and when Sara could not make it on time from her way back to London, the two never showed up for the shoot."

This piece of news has once again invited controversy to the film. It is so seen what Sara and Sushant Singh Rajput has to say in their defence. 

Recently, right after the trailer was released, Sara and Sushant had gone to the sets of Indian Idol 10 to promote their film. Sara stunned in a black lehenga by Sabyasachi and looked nothing less than a diva. Co-star Sushant also opted for black for the promotions.

About Kedarnath, this film tells the story of a wealthy Hindu girl who takes a pilgrimage to the historic Kedarnath Temple in the Uttarakhand mountains, where she meets and falls in love with a humble Muslim boy (Sushant) who becomes her guide. As their relationship grows closer along the journey, the pair faces many obstacles, including familial disapproval and contrasting backgrounds; when the sudden rains of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods devastate the region, the couple is forced to survive against the elements and face the ultimate test of their love.
