Cast : Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari; Director: Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury; Rating: * * * 1 / 5  (3 and half stars)

A glimpse of the film: The film revolves around three working girls; Mrinal Arora, Falak Ali and Andrea Tariang who stay together as roommates in Delhi. The girls accept a dinner invite from a guy named Rajveer at a club party. Later on, Rajveer tries to molest Mrinal and she injures him while trying to escape from the situation. To seek revenge from her, Rajveer, along with his friends tries to threaten Mrinal and her friends and harasses them socially. But no action is taken against him as he is the relative of a powerful politician. Instead, a case is filed against Mrinal and she gets caught up in a legal mess. Amitabh Bachchan plays a lawyer in the film has been observing the girl's troubles and comes to their rescue. Despite his poor health he fights the case for the girls and seeks justice. The first half of the film keeps us intrigued to what will happen next whereas the second half is set in the court room where the trail proceeds.

About Characters:

Taapse Pannu: The actress plays Mrinal Arora in the film and is the lead character among the three girls. In terms of acting, she could've done better than what we actually saw her doing on screen. We missed a natural feel to her acting in the film. Her aggressive nature is what makes her character an interesting one.

Kirti Kulhari: She plays the supporting actor in the film. She has justified Falak's character as she skillfully delivers the character's emotions making the audience wanting to see more from her.

Andrea: The actress is also in a supporting role in the film and has overall delivered a good performance in the film. Though there isn't much focus to her character, her acting is quite appreciable.

Amitabh Bachchan: Playing Adv. Deepak Sehgal, Mr. Bachchan is the show stealer in the film. That's not because he is in the lead role, but its his outstanding performance and dialogues. Amitabh's punch lines in the film is something that will give you goose bumps.

Conclusion: This intriguing story breaks the stereo type against girls for being judged over their way of living and attire. It's a must watch as filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chaudhary has raised a good topic in the film which leaves an important message at the end. The film's story and Amitabh's acting is what makes it worth watching. It had certain loopholes like the court case seems to be much extended than required where the audience might feel bored. Also, Taapse's acting was lesser than what we expected out from her. Else the film might have earned some more ratings.

All in all its a good watch this weekend, if court room drama's intrigue you. P for Pink; P for power.
