Baar Baar Dekho - Movie Review

Love is a complicated part of life, but is life as a whole any less complicated? Nitya Mehra tries her best to tell us a tale of love and life in a time travel story, where people usually forget to live smaller moments, chasing the larger benefits and other luxuries. Nitya beautifully weaves in the thought in our busy minds, without making it seem like a  sermon. What a debut Nitya Mehra! Take a bow lady! It's a tale that so simply made and yet hits you so hard.

Baar Baar Dekho is a love story of a Maths professor Jay Verma and his lady Dia who are school sweethearts and decide to marry eventually. After freaking out about and marriage and other responsibilities Jay and Dia get into a fight, where Dia leaves the house and Jay ends up drinking a lot; so much so that he passes out. When he wakes up his realises that his life has fast forwarded to 10 days. This time travel happens every time Jay goes to sleep. This forms the catalyst for the twists in the film.

Sidharth Malhotra!!!! One hell of a good looking man. The movie basically revolves just around him. The take the responsibility of the movie on his shoulder and we have no complaints. Sid is proving to be a try it all kind of actor. His graph seems to be progressing in the upward direction at a steady pace. If you can't take your eyes of Sid, no one's gonna blame you.

Katrina Kaif needed a good film after all the turmoil she has been going though in her personal life. Guess what she has got it! She oozes of energy and happiness, it's just a feel good feeling to look at her on screen; minus the fab bod that she has now. Performance wise she doesn't do anything new but does a decent job. The rest of the cast does a decent.

The music is foot tapping music is superb. Surely it's a chartbuster album and gonna be on everyone's mind.

All in all its an awesome experience that Nitya Mehra gives us. Go watch this one guys. It literally grows on you. Watch out for the make believe world, it will blow your mind! Baar Baar Dekho ko jaldi jake dekho!
