Housefull 3: An excellent summer entertainer! [Movie Review]

Baseline of the story: Three guys fall in love with three RICH girls to acquire their father's empire!

Story:

The movie starts with a diamond robbery and three masked men get arrested in that. By looking at them everyone will think that they are Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh but when they take the masks off the truth gets revealed! And yes, they are not Akki, Jr B and Riteish!

We are then introduced to the 'Sanskari betiyaan', played by Jacqueline Fernandes, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon of 'Mr. Batook Patel' played by Boman Irani. Further we are introduced to Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. Here begins the fun filled ride!

As you might have seen in the trailer, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh become crippled, dumb and blind respectively because if Sandy walks, Teddy sees and Bunty talks to Batook, he will die! That was the 'Bhavishyawani' by 'Aakhri Pasta' played by Chunky Pandey.

In the last part 'Urja Nagre' played by none other than the handsome Jackie Shroff and hidden secrets are revealed. Well that's just a summary, you have to watch the film for more!

And my favorite part of the review is,

Performance of the Actors:

Akshay Kumar plays the character of Sandy who suffers from split personality disorder and loves to play soccer. The other half of Sandy calls himself as 'Sundi'. When you come out of theaters you will definitely remember his expressions and some dialogues. Even now (while writing the review), when I remember the dialogues and scenes I still can't stop laughing!

Abhishek Bachchan is portrayed as a struggling rapper named Bunty. Well I would like to say, the character did suit him well and also a good addition to the Housefull franchise. Sajid - Farhad wisely added some spice to the film by incorporating the wax statues of Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of Teddy who loves to race cars. Maharashtrian background music (dhol types) was added for the character to give a 'Marathi' touch. Riteish as usual pulls it off very well! Just like for Jr.B, the directors added some dialogue for Teddy too, in which he calls Jenny (Lisa Haydon) as Genelia!

Now the girls:

Jacqueline Fernandes plays the character of a doctor named 'Ganga Patel/ Gracy Patel' and one the three 'Sanskari' daughters of Batook. She does the literal translation of Hindi in English and that's the fun part.

Nargis Fakhri plays the role of 'Saraswati Patel/ Sarah Patel', another 'Sanskari' daughter of Batook. She did her job very well and suits the character too!

Lisa Haydon is 'Jamuna Patel/Jenny Patel'. She is the love interest of Teddy and a perfect one to fit the three sisters!

Boman Irani, well he and the other boys will make you laugh. You can say Batook Patel is one of the reasons you should go and watch the film.

Jackie Shroff plays the character of Urja Nagre, an ex-underworld Don of Mumbai. But he gets arrested and after 18 years in jail he is released. He flies down to London to meet 'Batook Patel' his old friend! The 'Bindas Bhidu' does a fantastic job with his dialogue delivery to his expression.

About the Direction and Music

Director duo Sajid-Farhad surely did a great job and gave their best to deliver a perfect entertainer. The songs in the movie are average but the only song you would remember when you leave the theater is 'Pyaar ki.'

Overall, if you want a wholesome ENTERTAINMENT in this hot summer, Housefull 3 is the one for you! Keep your brains and logic aside and experience this joyride.
