Cast: Anuuj Saxena, Udita Goswami, Gulshan Grover, Rajesh Khattar, Tarina Patel
Director: Jag Mundhra
Chase – Wild Goose Chase

The film begins with a chase. A chase that upturns vegetable carts and breaks pottery. The chase ends when cops finally catch the guy doing all the running. Apparently, he's injured and the doctors diagnose his illness as locked in syndrome, in simpler words, the fella is in a vegetative state.

He is sent to a neurological research centre so that he gets alright and spews out the names. Well, he's a terrorist you see, he's got a lot of spy information. The hospital is one which makes you sigh in desperate wishing. Because all the nurses are clad in skimpy outfits. And if you're in a vegetative state like the lead Sohail (Anuuj Saxena) then the hospital gives you a sexy nurse Nupur (Udita Goswami) to wake you up with a strip tease.

In all this, Nupur gets zealous to prove that Sohail is play acting and is not at all suffering from locked in syndrome. So in all her gusto, she takes the wheel-chair ridden Sohail and pushes him into a river and voila! Sohail wakes up.

As the film progresses it's revealed that Sohail is the good guy and the cops, well they're the actual bad guys. Sohail is in possession of a video proof that can put an end to the bad cops' career. How he manages to prove his innocence to everyone is what the film is all about.

Anuuj in his debut film doesn't capture the audience's attention.  He lacks the aura of a lead actor. Udita has a plastic face. New comer Tarina Patel is forgettable. Rajesh Khattar as the bad D.I.G is typical of himself. The only decent performance is by Gulshan Grover who even with the limited scope offered to him, entertains us.

The music is not exciting. The title track would have received appreciation if it weren't for the striking similarity it has with BEP's Pump it.

Editing is pro- Anuuj. Especially a shot where he is shown turning left and right a la Rajnikant style.

Chase is a film that tries to blend in all the spice factors of a film but loses out on proportion and combination.
