Pick light, chic jewellery for summer

New Delhi, May 7 (IANS) Keep metals like copper away from your jewellery box this summer and go for lightweight pieces to adorn your neck, wrist or ears.

Akassh K. Aggarwal, jewellery designer owner of Shubhashini Ornamentals, shares jewellery trends for spring and summer:

* Go minimalistic. One can choose lightweight jewellery.

* Gem studded watches are also good to go.

* Subtle drop earrings in pearls are in vogue too.

* Metals such as brass, aluminium and copper are a complete no for summers. They provide energy to the skin when they come in contact with sun.

* Solitaire studs, sterling silver earrings have a timeless look. To add sophistication and elegance, one can go for these timeless pieces too.
