producer Bellamkonda SureshProducer Bellam Konda Suresh feels that as a producer it is his "responsibility" to support and nurture aspiring directors who are the future of fildom.

"The future belongs to the creative younger generation. As a producer I feel responsible to support and back them as much as possible. I'm glad to have introduced a few aspiring directors through my films and I hope to continue my effort," Suresh told IANS.

"Even though I'm busy making films with stars, I'm also on a lookout to produce films with newcomers," he added.

He introduced director Santosh Srinivas who made blockbuster Telugu action-romantic "Kandireega", which is now being remade in Hindi. He also launched Ramesh Varma, who wielded the megaphone for not-so-successful Telugu crime-thriller "Ride".

Do you feel newcomers guarantee high success rate?

"Success of a film depends on the reception from the audience. Even good films made by star directors have failed miserably and so have films by first-time directors. At the end of the day, it's the content and presentation that matters the most," he said.

He recently produced small-budget Telugu romantic-drama "Bus Stop".

"All recent Telugu hits such as 'Ala Modalaindi', 'Ee Rojullo' and 'Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam' were made by newcomers. These films were successful because they had something different to offer to the audience," said Suresh.

His upcoming Telugu film is Siddharth-Samantha starrer "Jabardasth".
