Veer, Salman Khan's big Bollywood epic has barely been on the big screen for a week and it has already run in to trouble!

Pavan Choudary, a Gurgaon-based writer known for his book titled A Trilogy of Wisdom is unhappy with the makers of Veer as he believes that the scriptwriter has blatantly stolen a 'thought' from the Hindi translation of his book.

According to Choudary, the Trilogy of his book compromises of Chanakya's political, Confucius' social, and Kabir's spiritual wisdom. In the Chanakya section he had outlined his political dream for his country, culminating ofa quote that compares the country to a 'sone ki chidiya' (a golden goose), a title ancient India has often been referred to as by a vast range of historians.

However, he was shocked to find the three line quote spoken, almost word to word, by Salman Khan in a trailer of Veer. The writer has consequently filed a case against producer Vijay Galani, director Anil Sharma, scriptwriter and actor Salman Khan as well as Eros International.

Choudary has requested for damages but insists that the main thing he is looking for is the paternity of the idea to be attributed to him, a rightfully claimed credit in his opinion.
