Video launch of UTV Spotboy motion picture's hit film 'Aamir'

Mumbai, July 7, 2008: Depot, the 'books, music and gifts' store from the Future Group, in association with UTV Motion Pictures, today launched the DVD & VCD of the seasons latest hit thriller, 'Aamir', which marked the debut of Rajeev Khandelwal, on the big screen. Rajeev visited the Depot store at Milan Mall, Santacruz (W) today, for the home video launch of 'Aamir', where he interacted with his fans and gave autographs. The DVD of the film are priced at Rs.299 and the VCD at Rs. 149. These will be available across all stand alone Depot stores and also in Depot shop-in-shop outlets at Big Bazaar, Pantaloons, Central, eZone, HomeTown, etc.

After a successful debut, Rajeev Khandelwal is very upbeat about his bollywood career. Sharing his experiences about the movie at the launch, he said, "Shooting for 'Aamir' was definitely an enthralling experience. Director Raj Kumar Gupta refrained from resorting to the regular formula of a romance angle, song-n-dance track, item numbers, et al and has created a distinctive path for me in Bollywood." He added, "I am delighted to be showered with encouragement and support from corporates like Depot and UTV and I would like to thank them for it. They have shown tremendous faith in the work of debutants, and this further validates the quality work that has gone behind the movie. This movie is unlike mainstream cinema and I am sure every movie buff, who wants to see something offbeat, would like to own this DVD/VCD.
The response to the movie from the fans has been wonderful and I am already looking forward to my next movie."
