This was such an incredibly beautiful film! I can't believe I never saw the original Aashiqui. In the beginning of the movie, it reminded me a lot of Ranbir Kapoor's recent movie Rockstar, with the star turning bad, fighting the media and others etc... However, as the movie progressed I really fell for the story and the way the two characters felt about each other. It did lead me to tears at some points. However, like Rockstar, Aashiqui did have a really abrupt and short ending, whereby characters die. I didn't like this about both movies. Moreover, I didn't like the way Rahul's friend comes back to talk to Arohi and blames her for his death. ALL IN ALL THOUGH, I'd agree with it being the love story of the decade, although the kahaani is left incomplete! However, it was nice to see Arohi doing so well, when asked for her autograph at the end and the way she kept sweet memories of Rahul when writing the signature. I'd have to re-watch Rockstar and see which love story I preferred, Aashiqui may have won me over due to the amazing songs! Just to add: I had never really paid any attention to Tulsi Kumar's voice before this movie and now I have I think I may have found a new favourite singer alongside my current favourite, Shreya Ghoshal<3
