'Sooryavansham' is a story of a principled man who is revered by everyone. However, one of his sons does not live upto his expectations, which makes the entire family, barring the mother, treat him like an outsider. After the som marries a girl much against his father's wishes, the furious father abandons him and his newly wedded wife. The son starts his life from scratch and becomes a millionaire due to his hard work. The uncompromising father's heart melts when he sees his grandson and gradually, the differences are resolved between the two.
