Plot

'Mast' is the story of a youthful obsession with a filmstar. Kitu (Aftab Shivdasani) is a college student in Pune whose life revolves solely around dreaming about filmstar Mallika (Urmila Matondkar) to the extent that he fails his exams. He runs away to Bombay in search of her and takes shelter in Usmanbhai's (Neeraj Vohra) hotel near her house. From here he catches a glimpse of Mallika's real life behind the camera.
