Maheck was first considered for a role in Ajnabee but was not selected due to her linguistic shortcomings. She joined Kishore Namit's acting school in Mumbai and managed to get a Telugu film titled Neetho, but her dialogues in the film were dubbed. She made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with a role in Nayee Padosan. She also did an item number in Kareena Kapoor starrer Chameli. She has also done a Punjabi film Dil Apna Punjabi with tips films. She also played supporting roles in the Salman Khan starrer films Wanted and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. She has done TV commercials for Mentor Shirts, Godrej Refrigerator, Fevicol, Bombay Dyeing, Bar-One Chocolate. She has also modelled in punjabi pop singer Jazzy B's music videos for the songs "Sun Ni Kuri" and "Assi Ki Kariye". She also entered in fifth season of the reality television show Bigg Boss.
