Harman Baweja was born in Chandigarh, Punjab to director Harry Baweja and producer Pammi Baweja. He did his schooling at Jamnabhai Narsee School. He also took some acting lessons at the Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting Institute.
In 2009, Baweja changed his name to Harman S Baweja following numerology. The "S" in his name is a tribute to his grandfather.
His debut film in Bollywood was the sci-fi romance Love Story 2050 opposite Priyanka Chopra was written & directed by his father and produced by his mother which got poor response.
In 2009, he appeared in Victory and What's Your Raashee and both the films crashed badly at the box office.
His current projects include Anees Bazmee's It's My Life.
