Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani was in diapers when he faced the camera for the first time for a Farex commercial and there was no looking back.

Aftab Shivdasani, whose nickname is Faffy, was born on 25th June 1978 in Mumbai, India. His parents are Prem Shivdasani, a Hindu while his mother is Sandha Shivdasani, a Muslim. He has an older sister Afsana.

His school years were spent in St Xavier's High School. He completed college with a degree from H.R. College of Commerce.

He was all of fourteen months old when he appeared in an ad for the baby food brand Farex. He appeared as a child actor in Mr. India (1987), Shahenshah (1988) and ChaalBaaz (1989).

Shivdasani was dating actresses Esha Deol, Shamita Shetty and model Yana Gupta. He is currently said to be involved with Aamna Shariff with whom he has starred in Aloo Chaat.

In 2006, he won the People's Choice Award for Most Handsome.

1999 to 2003 Aftab Shivdasani made his debut as a lead actor in Ram Gopal Varma's Mast (1999) as a college-goer in love with an actress. He won the Filmfare Best Debut Award as well as the Filmfare Most Promising Newcomer Award. His next movie with Lisa Ray was Vikram Bhatt's Kasoor as a man convicted for murder.

He was seen in comedy flicks like Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001) and Awaara Pagal Deewana (2002).

2004 to 2009 Shivdasani didn't have any blockbusters even as he continued to be seen frequently on the big screen with movies like Masti (2004), Ankahee (2006) and Money Hai To Honey Hai (2008).

Some of his movies to look forward to in 2009 are Aloo Chaat with Aamna Shariff, Acid factory and Kambakth Ishq.
